Machon Hora'ah BeYisrael

Machon Hora'ah trains young avrechim to become morei tzedek in less than ten years. Located in Modi'in Illit and Yerushalayim, its purpose is to train especially talented avrechim to become rabbinical leaders of Jewish communities around the world.

How it works

Weekly Exams

Machon Hora'ah holds regular exams to ensure the yungerleit's complete bekius on the topic currently learned in kollel, checking their accuracy.

Thorough Shiurim

Starting with Shas, Tur, Shulchan Aruch, Rishonim and Acharonim, and ending with modern day poskim, the shiurim comprehensively cover all halachic aspects.

Uncompromising Depth

Machon Hora'ah beYisrael specializes in systematically diving into the detailed depths of halacha lemaiseh, comprehensively covering all relevant halachic topics

Rabbonim's Haskamos

The yungerleit received warm recommendations from gedoley hador; this attests to their high level of rabbinic training and encourages them to provide rabbinic leadership in communities around the world

The yungerleit wrote and published halachic kuntresses, benefiting the community and displaying their comprehensive mastery of the various halachic areas

Once the yungerleit reach an advanced stage in their studies, they receive hands-on experience answering real shailos from community members, under the close supervision of experienced rabbonim

Daily Tefillos on Behalf of Donors

Each morning before learning, the yungerleit daven for their benefactors, individually reciting their names. The avrechim recognize the spiritual connection between the donors and themselves. The sechar le'asid lavo that they both will receive is equal, just as in the partnership of Yissachar and Zevulun.

Kuntresses Dedicated on Donors' Behalf

During the course of their training, the avrechim publish kuntresses on various halachic topics, and dedicate them on behalf of the donors themselves or le'iluy nishmas whomever the donors choose, thus ensuring commemoration, and showing tribute to the supporters of Torah.

Monthly Kosel Tefillos for Donors

The avrechim visit the Kosel as well as Kever Rochel on a monthly basis and daven for the success of those who support their Torah learning. This deepens the ruchnius connection between the avrechim and the donors, and enables long-term bracha.
